Marietta Square with Anna

Step back in Time and Experience a Merchant's Home in Merietta,GA... 150 Years Ago.Anna is my acompany for the visit to Marietta Square,we plan to come back again the other time with some other Au Pairs.Picture taken in the Root house-The ancients type of American life.
The Root House was built circa 1845 at The corner of of Curch and lemon Streets by Hannah and William Root,Early settlers of Marietta.Mr Root was one of Marietta's Earliest Merchants and its first Druggist.Root house is one of the oldest surviving frame houses in Marietta and offers visitors a glimpse of the home.
Visit to Marietta Square 28 June 2006
Marietta Visitor center,very informative place.I got a lot of brouchers to visit places nearby.We bought a ticket to visit three muziums in Marietta square which are Gone With The Wind Muzium , Marietta History Muzium and The Root House.

28 June 2006,Marietta square visit,this is the picture taken in Glover park.Glover Park was the original site of the Cobb County Courthouse. Today, that modern edifice sits on the southeast corner of opposite Glover Park. Independence Day celebration will be held here every year.
